FAQ
Is this an actual wedding?
Yes and No - Kind Of. We will already be married and there will not be a ceremony at this event, however this is how we are choosing to celebrate our marriage/wedding/reception/party! Semantics.
What should we expect at this event?
Just a low key celebration at one of our favorite spots! There will be food, wine, a DJ, dancing, and some fun speeches from friends and family!
Will there be dinner?
We will be having a food truck with plenty of food but there will not be a formal sit down dinner.
What is the alcohol situation?
This event is beer and wine only (and of course non-alcoholic options). There will not be a cash bar.
You mentioned Indian or American attire, is one preferred over the other?
No! We want to be able to celebrate both of our cultures and encourage you to wear either! If you would like to wear Indian attire and need help, reach out to Shreyasi!
Is this event indoors or outdoors?
This is 100% outdoors and there can be uneven surfaces in the outdoor space so be mindful of shoe choices!
If the event is outdoors, what type of weather should we anticipate?
It should be warm but not uncomfortably warm (80s during the day, in the 60s and 70s in the evening). Keep in mind, weather in San Francisco is quite cold in August but north of San Francisco in Sonoma/Napa is warm.
Is there an after party?
Yes! For those that want to keep celebrating, we are arranging a spot for an after party (most likely an Irish bar in Sonoma square). Transportation will just be taxis and ubers for it.
